"Police Headquarters" was the prologue episode of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, set in Paris, France at 4:20 am. It was also the first job in the Sly Cooper series. The goal was for Sly Cooper to break into Carmelita Fox's office and steal a case file on him and the Fiendish Five, which would help him and his gang track down each villain and reclaim each component of the Thievius Raccoonus.

After the mission briefing with Bentley and Murray, you can freely explore the rooftop to learn Sly Cooper's basic moves and even increase your coin count by busting open some of the objects.
Sly follows the stealth auras around the tower.
For the main task, you must sneak inside the police station through the air vent. Follow the small ramp lined with coins up to the ledge of the water tower, where you will discover blue sparkles called stealth auras. Follow these sparkles around the tower (
to interact, then 
to move). Use 
to jump across the two TV antennas to reach the air vent. Use 
to break it open with Sly's cane, then head inside until you reach a ledge above a vertical shaft of yellow lasers below. To reach the bottom, you must carefully leap down to the other ledges leading down (indicated by coins), avoiding the laser beams. If you hit a laser, the alarm will trigger, and the lasers will become red and harmful. Upon reaching the floor, destroy the siren to open the door to the halls.
Sly obtains what he was looking for.
Turn left twice when going through the corridor, and you will find Carmelita's office, marked by a locked red door. Exit through the open window right beside it and follow the ledge to reach the window of Carmelita's office. Once inside, approach the vault to begin cracking the code. You can use 
, or the directional left and right buttons to switch between dials. Use either , 
, or the directional up and down buttons to turn the tumblers.
Sly skillfully dodges Carmelita's fire.
With the file in hand, the last thing to do is run to the van. Step onto the fire escape and you will be confronted by Inspector Fox. While dodging Carmelita's shots, run down the fire escape and rush through the parking lot to reach the van. The lot is filled with a bunch of police cars and barriers. Do not jump over any of the police cars, as Carmelita will shoot them, causing them to burst into flames. Instead, run in between the vehicles and bust through any barriers that block your path. The doors to the van will open as you approach it; jump inside to finish the mission.
