"Ice Ice Bentley" was a job for Bentley in "Clan of the Cave Raccoon" of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.
Objective[]
Track down Grizz in his lair and tag with darts.
Walkthrough[]
Once you enter the cave, you must use Bentley's thermovision to see Grizz's footprints. First, dispatch the rat trooper guards in the area. Once you find out where Grizz's footprints are leading, use Bentley's bombs to blow open the wall of ice blocking the path. Follow the path and you'll come across a couple of gaps. In the center is a platform with a pile of debris. Toss a bomb on it, then cross the gaps.
Follow the path and it will lead you to a large room with Grizz inside. In this room is a little puzzle you need to solve to open the door Grizz went through. Bring out the thermovision and observe Grizz's large painting and his statue on your left. On the statue are three specific objects highlighted in light orange: the bling, apple and penguin. These same objects are seen on the painting. You must use Bentley's sleep darts to hit these objects, which will trigger them as switches and open the door.
Pass through the tunnel and you will reach some more gaps. Just like before, blow up the debris sitting on the center platform to cross, but watch out ahead, as there are giant eggs that roll down the tunnel in your direction. When the coast is clear, head into the tunnel. There are several alcoves in the tunnel, which you can use to avoid the rolling eggs. Blow open the ice wall at the end.
You will then reach a large room with five Mammoth guards patrolling around. Three of them hold gem keys to the locked door nearby. Use the thermovision to see which guards hold them. Make sure you don't get spotted! After obtaining the keys, head up to the door and open it. You will have to survive another gauntlet of rolling eggs, with the addition of ice geysers in the ground. Blow up the wall at the left end of the tunnel, then you will approach Grizz's lair. Now it's time for you to tag him with the darts. You have a limited amount of time to do this, as he will eventually leave again. This part can be very tricky; you must aim for the rip in the bear's pants to make the darts stick, and you will have to switch views as the machine will spray ice into Bentley's face. Tag the bear three times to complete the job.
Sly Mask locations[]
- In the final tunnel, before heading into Grizz's lair, look for an ice wall on the right. Blow it open to reveal the mask.
