This is likely the biggest thing from sly three (at least on murray's end) that was left out of sly four. Does anybody know why sanzaru would have done this? Like the ball from was essential in my experience, for getting around as Murray, as I believe turnbuckle launch was removed in this game. And with the stress on murray's aboriginal training as well, it just doesn't make sense that the move be left out. Any ideas?

    • They stated that they got input from a lot of fans, critics, sucker punch, and themselves of what they wanted and what not. (that what they told playstation magazine anyway...) Thinking I don't quite remember Murray's Ball techique, it problely wasn't the most notiable thing.

Also, despite not being the wrost game ever (It pretty good), Sly cooper 3 is a bit of the dark horse of the 4 main games. There wasn't too many things that can say was "Sly 3" only and wasn't form another game. It had Co-op and desgiuses sure, but steath games are often lable more of an "lone wolf gerne", a one player affair and desgiuese are already added in sly 4.

TL;DR- Sly 3 didn't have much really popular stuff, Ball form inculded.

    • Sly 3 is my favorite game in the series.

    • Sly three is mine as well. Still don't see why people wouldn't want the ball forme in the game though. Getting around in sly 4 as Murray is a pain in the *** and looking back. Sly 4 kinda destroyed some of murray's character as a whole. In sly four he's an "eat sleep and crack skulls" guy. I don't really like that now that I think about it.

    • He's sort of like that from Sly 2 on anyway. Yeah, he has more character than that, but I think that Sanzaru did an OK job.

    • Like what? Hard to move around as?

    • Character-wise.

But yes, all of the characters in Thieves in Time felt "fat" when controlling them, Sly included.

    • hmm...I wouldn't know, have yet to play four even though I have a copy now (I'm takeing a pilgrimage right now though the other 3 games frist) .

It wasn't too bad though with the contorls was it?

    • No, it's fine. The characters just aren't as "spry" as they were originally.

    • hmm...they did say something about using real world psyics in the mag, which are not cartoonic psyics (Duh right?). That could of been the problem.

    • The characters aren't powered by the physics engine, though (maybe their jump arcs are); just the debris from broken objects and such.

You'll see what I mean when you play it.

    • Ah, sounds good.

Say, can I talk to you somewheres else? There a few things I need to ask you.
