Do any of you think that a lot of the feedback for Sly 4 was biased, due to the fact that Sucker Punch didn't work on it? As in, do you feel that a lot of people decided beforehand that it was going to suck because someone not familiar with the series created it? I think a lot of the bad feedback was because of that. I know there were some actual flaws with it (for example, I've heard about plotholes), but I feel like most people just nitpicked it because of that. I haven't played much of it, and I haven't played it at all in possibly a year or more, but I think it doesn't seem to be as bad as it's made out to be.

    • It, form what I can see, a good reboot of the series. sure, might not be the best, but what did you expect when a series just get back on it two feet after a few years, It going to be rusty.

    • I think that more people just didn't even know that the game existed thanks to Sony's lack of marketing.

    • yh, what Teenbat said. The fanbase and sales may have been huge before, but most of those people weren't hardcore fans so after an 8 year hiatus they had no idea the series was returning. Even today I still find people being shocked that there's a movie and new game. Sony really should have taken the risk and advertised it... oh well, I bet the plan is for the movie to determine if there will be a Sly 5, etc..

    • Strangely enough, it seems like the movie is getting more advertising and media exposure than the game ever did.

    • I haven't seen that much advertising. But I have seen a lot more people noticing the new movie than the new game, which will hopefully help. And by game, do you mean Sly 4, or all of the games?

    • I mean Sly 4.

    • Oh okay. I guess it makes sense though. From my point-of-view, regardless of the movie being based off a video game, movies always get more advertising than video games. Still, wish Sony advertised Sly 4 (and if there will be a 5th one, they better advertise it).
