Characters Discussion, PLEASE READ

This definitely is nothing to be decided now, but I think that talking about it as early as we can so we can come to a definite conclusion by the time the film releases would be a good idea.

I am speaking wholly in terms of a wiki, and even more so in terms of an encyclopedia of information on the Sly Cooper series. When the film comes out, should we have different pages for the characters in the films? I'm not asking if anyone would be willing to do it, or if it would be too much work. I'm asking if it would be wise to have information that will be clearly different (as the film does take place in an "alternate universe" to the game series, and the characters may share only basic traits from those in the games) in separate articles. Examples of this would be articles called "Bentley Turtle," "Murray Hippo," and "Sly Cooper (film character)."

Again, BEFORE YOU RESPOND, I would like you to think of this more in terms of having several, easy to read, clear cut pages, rather than a single, cluttered, confusing page that contains information under noncanon headers and whatnot. For examples of what I have in mind, take a look at these pages: the Joker from Arkham Asylum and the Joker from Arkham City.

encyclopedia /n/ (en-sahy-kluh-pee-dee-uh): a book, set of books, optical disc, mobile device, or online informational resource containing articles on various topics, usually in alphabetical arrangement, covering all branches of knowledge or, less commonly, all aspects of one subject.

Lol! I was planning on bringing this up too (eventually). Anyways, I think this is a good idea.
Another thing to discuss: should every page that is about something/someone from the film have "(film)" at the end of the title, for clarity? Even characters/other things that are exclusive to the film? ~ TheRameRaise [TalkContributions] 15:18, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
No, I don't think so. Things that appear in both, but have different histories or uses, should, but new stuff, like the original boss they are adding, shouldn't, since there would be nothing to confuse it with. I've seen it done both ways, but I prefer as little "title clarification" as possible to keep things cleaner. Teenbat 16:42, June 28, 2015 (UTC)
