Paris is the capital and most populated city in France, situated along the Seine River. Paris appears as a recurring location throughout the Sly Cooper series.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius RaccoonusEdit

In Sly Cooper And The Thievius Raccoonus, Sly breaks into INTERPOL's headquarters in Paris to steal a case file on the Fiendish Five. After stealing the file, he must escape Inspector Carmelita Fox, who chases him. The Cooper Gang's hideout is in a train car on the outskirts of the French city.

The Adventures of Sly Cooper issue 1Edit

In the first issue of The Adventures of Sly Cooper, Sly infiltrates a party in Monaco to steal a statue. After this, Sly encounters Carmelita, initiating a flashback story of their first meeting in a Parisian opera house.

Sly 2: Band of ThievesEdit

In Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Paris is the location of the hub world for The Black Chateau, where Dimitri, a member of the Klaww Gang, is situated, along with his nightclub. He employs various warthogs, rats and frogs as his guards.

Paris also appears as the final location in the game after Arpeggio's blimp crashes into the city.

The Adventures of Sly Cooper issue 2Edit

In the second issue of The Adventures of Sly Cooper, Sly and Murray rescue Bentley from a hospital in Paris. Finally, Sly infiltrates into Carmelita's apartment to locate a blueprint.

Sly 3: Honor Among ThievesEdit

In a post-credits scene in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, Sly Cooper holds hands with Carmelita on a balcony in Paris, which is seen through the eyes of Bentley. Suddenly, Sly looks back and winks at Bentley's vantage point, indicating to Bentley that he faked his amnesia. Bentley then quips, "That sneaky devil!"

Sly Cooper: Thieves in TimeEdit

Paris is once again a location in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. It functions as the prologue. Sly meets up with Bentley and Murray and is promptly invited to join a heist after an eight year hiatus. Sly must break into Le Paradox's museum to steal an ancient Japanese dagger, used to take the Cooper Gang back to Feudal Japan to recover disappearing pages from the Thievius Raccoonus, which Bentley has held onto himself.

Paris also functions as the epilogue. The Cooper Gang works together with the Sly's ancestors to recover their canes from Cyrille Le Paradox. After all of the canes are returned to their rightful owners, Sly engages in a duel with Le Paradox as the blimp begins to collapse onto itself. Bentley, Murray, Carmelita, and eventually Le Paradox are able to escape, though Sly's fate was unknown to them.

It is revealed to the player that he was transported back in time to Ancient Egypt.

Other appearancesEdit

Non-canon: The following is based on non-canon content and is not considered to be part of the Sly Cooper continuity.

When Sly tries to save him, he nearly falls onto the lasers.but is suspended in midair. Paris has new streets and new guards. The guards are of Dimitri and of Arpeggio. Afterwards, Paris has pirates, guards and Agorians.

Playstation All-Stars Battle RoyaleEdit

In PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Paris appears as a stage. The stage takes place on one of Paris' rooftops, with two antennas and a water tower that the players can hop on. There is also a raised platform on the right that can be accessed. Eventually, the Negativitron from LittleBigPlanet 2 comes out and begins sucking up things in the background. He will then assault the stage, trying to suck players up and hit them with lasers to drain AP, and he will suck in the antennas and water tower as time passes.

Non-canon information ends here.

  • In Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, the tutorial level in Paris has a well-known glitch to jump into the streets of Paris. While down on the road it is revealed that all of the buildings (besides the police headquarters) can be walked through. The boundary goes on for a long way, ending a bit past the Eiffel Tower which leads to a never-ending fall.
  • The third game of the series, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, is the only game in the series that does have a level in Paris; rather, it only has a cutscene at the end of the game.
