Is the background tiled for you? Just wondering if something went wrong or changed with Wikia's coding or something. I viewed it on a different browser just to be sure (Opera) and it's tiled there as well. I also tried to fix it by editing the Theme, and it wasn't doing anything.
Also, I saw that the Thief Reflexes page was rolled back. Did I do something wrong with it?
Background's definitely tiled for me as well. Considering none of our css has changed, I assumed me it was on Wikia's end. Either way, I'm thinking about making a new theme of proper size - perhaps we could incorporate something from the movie? Feel free to shoot images that could be used.
I'll look into the Thief Reflexes page soon. I don't recall rollbacking it but I'm on mobile right now which isn't the most ideal way of checking it.
EDIT: I checked the page history and wow, I must've edited an old version of the page, because I never saw your (Teenbat's) version of the page before I started editing it. Feel free to rollback my edits.
1 how did you get the music to play on your profile (I cant code it in but i have some wiki friends who might want to use it)2 do we use english or american english for spelling and grammar thanks in advance
Hey, I noticed you actually deleted the part off of the Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time page about a sequel being planned. I am actually the guy who is planning a sequel since Sanzaru Games is not making a Sly 5 . I am just letting you know upfront.
Good luck with that, considering Sly Cooper's owned by Sony and you'd have to get everything past them first. With that said, it hasn't been officially unveiled by a news source (and I will be honest, I'm not believing what you're saying), so as long as it doesn't end up on the mainspace pages, it'll be good. Also, in case you didn't see my my message to you. There's a little more detail on why I reverted the edits.
The front page has changed a bit! Was that you, or was it an automatic thing that kind of happens to all wikis over time? Just wondering, because personally, while the image at the top is nice, the bold SLY COOPER WIKI thing and the subtitle look a little weird. They just seem redundant I suppose, considering that information is conveyed in the section directly below.
Also, I can't remember exactly where the conversation left off, but what about the special font for page titles? Can it be done, or would it be too difficult, campy, unnecessary, etc.?
The main page would indeed be me. Feel free to customize the Wiki text and subtitle (I couldn't think of anything, heh). Heck, if you find a better banner image, that works too.
The custom font is still open for conversation. This is what the main page of my test wiki looks like; currently the pageheader font for every page is some font from Second Son, but it used to be Badaboom BB, which is what is currently on this wiki. If you're fine with that pagetext font, then I can go ahead with it.
So, I was thinking about changing the MTCBox template. I have the code already planned, so if you wanna take a quick look at my Sandbox, you'll be able to see the new box (top) which fits in with all of the other Infoboxes on the wiki, and the original (bottom).
There is nothing that will break the Master Thief Challenge pages, but if you wanna take a look, the code for the new box is hidden in comments at the top of the source of my sandbox.
You see the reason i ask is because i am trying to figure something out with the Admin Dashboard if weather it means that someone last logged in on the wiki in question or if it means logged in to wikies over all.
Whoa, I'm not sure how I missed this, but thanks Teenbat for responding. If you're looking for Admin Dashboard, it's located here, but you would need to be an admin of the wiki you're visiting on to see it.
If you take a look at the Dishonored Wiki, you may soon notice that all of the titles for each page are in a different font. This font is the main font for the game. So, the "Sly Cooper font" is Badaboom BB... And I think it would be really cool to be able to change it so we have something similar to what they have, using this font.
Just seeing what you would think about something like that, and if you like it... Maybe you could help look around on the community wiki or other places trying to figure out how to do it? Because I've tried on my Sandbox page to do
DISPLAYTITLE:< font face="">Hello</font>
with a variety of fonts, and it does nothing... I'm going to message one of the Admins on that wiki right after this, so hopefully that bears fruit.
I will say that it might look a little out of place among rest of text, which is Arial font (especially since Arial is much different than Badaboom). I do think we should try it out though, and it can always be changed back if wanted.
On your second edit, I don't see any change... Has it been reverted or anything?
But on the topic of whether or not it would look out of place, I do suppose it would be an opinion thing. I haven't seen it in action, but I do think that it would simply based on the fact that it is "the Sly Cooper font". I think that it looks fine on the Dishonored Wiki, with the "Dishonored font"... Anyway, though, if you think it's out of place, there's nothing that says we have to do it.
It looks like it was uploaded as a .ttf file, by the way. Not really sure if that changes anything.
Ahh, got it. A friend using Ubuntu couldn't see any of my custom CSS. Anyways, here's the title italicized, and normally.
This is what my test wiki looks like. Capture It (the font used in cutscenes and the menues) being the text font, while another font powering the titles (I was aiming for inFamous: Second Son's font on that one).
Well this a real frusterating change, i don't understand how to use it, or to find the keyboards for it, the one before it, was so much more simple, all we had to do was click it, and poof you have an info box, this just makes my head spin around in confusion, i really don't understand how to use this.
