I've never seen such a majestic creature, so full of life, so ready to live...

So much for that, he's back in the deep freeze.

Laser Redirection is a job for Sly in Menace from the North, Eh? episode  of Sly 2: Band of Thieves.

Objective

Sly must redirect a laser from inside a building to the outside, and redirect it to a frozen block of ice containing a log chopping guide.

How to Complete

Go into the designated building and you will find that there is a wall between you and the laser. You will have to go around the interior, using the sawmill equipment to your advantage. You will then find the laser, and redirect it outside. Go outside. Once outside, use the crystals that Bentley gave you to redirect the laser. It will be redirected various ways, about 10 or so times. It will then be redirected to the log chopping guide's block of ice. The laser will also unintentionally unfreeze a mammoth which soon falls into the cold waters to be frozen once again.

Notes

Be aware that the laser can hurt you, so do not touch it.

There is a glitch in the game where this mission can be repeatable. If you re-enter the building after completing this episode, the level may restart, forcing you to complete it and any missions after it, including the final boss. This can keep you from getting 100% and therefore can remove your ability to use the Mega Jump gadget. Sucker Punch Productions posted a fix for this glitch, which says to let auto-save handle the saving of the game and to complete the episode from there.
