I've marked the areas you need to hit with holographic markers. Follow them to your objectives.
Holographic marker

Holographic markers are visual representations of job start locations and interactive objects, such as buttons or switches.

In Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, they are large blue-green sphere-like halos, and are only used to indicate level entrances, but from Sly 2: Band of Thieves on, they are small logos that are based on the current character (in the case of interactive objects), or the required character (in the case of job start locations). The job can be started and performed at the hub world directly unlike previous game.

Sly Cooper and the Thievius RaccoonusEdit

In the first game, holographic markers were first introduced by Bentley in the Isle of Wrath.[1] They were used to indicate which areas Sly had to explore in each world. When near, the total progress on the level would be displayed on screen, showing whether or not the treasure key was collected, the vault was opened and if a Master Thief Sprint was completed.

Post Sly Cooper and the Thievius RaccoonusEdit

In the next three games, they were used to display interactive objects such as doors, traps, buttons or switches, along with job starts. When near the markers, pressing CircleButton allowed players to interact with the object. On some occasions, they did not require interaction. One example would be the mission in Sly 2 "Charged TNT Run" where Sly Cooper blew up an engine room with the TNT Barrel, and there is a holographic marker. All he had to do was place the barrel over the marker and jump out.[2]

In Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, holographic markers could also be seen in the safe house, above characters' heads to indicate which ones currently had jobs available. One was created to indicate if ThiefNet has power-ups available.

First appearanceEdit

  • In Anatomy for Disaster, after destroying all of the power stations as Murray, his holographic markers will still be seen.[3]
  • In Sly 3, the Panda King and the Guru are the only additional members who have their own holographic markers.
  • The introductory levels of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and Sly 2: Band of Thieves are the only levels in the series to not feature these markers.[4][5]
