| ||This page is about the mission from Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. For the fireworks technique invented by the Panda King, see Flame-Fu.|
|Insolent child! You shall pay dearly for your disrespect! Still, to honor your Cooper ancestry, I will send you to your doom with the beauty of my new firework technique... Flame-Fu!|
— The Panda King[src]
Sly launches himself up to the Panda King's statue, and prepares to fight the Panda King. When the two meet, the Panda King asks Sly if he is here to reclaim the Thievius Raccoonus. Sly states that while that was his initial plan, he has a bigger interest in stopping him from causing more avalanches.
The Panda King does not see why Sly should care about that, seeing how he's a thief just like him. However, Sly corrects him in saying that he is a thief, from a long line of master thieves, while calling him a "frustrated firework artist turned homicidal pyromaniac." The Panda King then insists on making Sly pay for his disrespect by sending him to his doom, with the beauty of his new firework technique, Flame-Fu.
However, the panda is bested by the Cooper. Before passing out, the Panda King tells Sly that his skill with his cane is unparalleled. Sly then receives Otto Van Cooper's page from the Thievius Raccoonus and uses this page to make technological advances to the Cooper Van, which will come in handy for their next adventure.
- This fight sequence was used during the flashback scene of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, where Sly and the gang try to find common ground with the Panda King. The Guru bridges the minds of Sly and Panda King so they are able to snap him out of his meditative trance to have him join the Cooper Gang.
- Only the difference is there will be dialogues everytime Panda King bounces Sly and the Thief Meter itself. Sly will not be killed instantly while Panda King also use his Thief Meter instead of Boss Health.
