Use this walkthough of The Claw in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves to operate the giant crane, and use it to take out the many guards trying to stop your pal Murray from trashing the oil drilling sites. Pick up rocks and toss them at enemies, or just toss the enemies themselves into the electrical fence here. When you've trashed all three sites, you'll move on to the next mission, Lemon Rage.

Heading out into the desert, you'll be operating a huge crane, using it to protect Murray as he wrecks the machinery here. Listen to Bentley's explanation of the crane's controls, then practice with it by picking up a rock and dropping it down a hole. Grab another rock, and toss it over into the electric fence up ahead. When the enemies start appearing, rushing toward you to put a stop to Murray's sabotage, use the crane for real, dropping rocks on the guards as they come into range, or simply plucking them up directly, and throwing them into the fence. Either method should drop the enemies in one hit if done correctly. When Murray finishes wrecking the first section of machinery, clear out any guards still lingering in the area, then, when he runs over and stands in front of the crane, pick up Murray, and bring him over to the right, where another work site is just begging to be sabotaged. The same basic scenario will play out here. Use the rocks, and the electric fence up ahead, to destroy the enemies before they can cause too much trouble. Once you've finished up there, head over to yet another site, and get back to work. The electric fence here is broken up, so you'll need to aim your shots a bit more carefully. Otherwise, this is about the same thing as before. Protect Murray by any means necessary, until he can trash the final site, finishing the mission.
