Kangaroos were enemy guards faced by Sly Cooper and the gang in Yuendumu, in "Rumble Down Under" of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. They served as rooftop guards.
Description[]
The kangaroos were green in color with a yellow snout and black legs. They wore a purple shirt, a cowboy hat, a white bandage on their tails and carried a pouch that holds a small joey. The joey was yellow in color and wore goggles, a white helmet and a pink shirt. They could attack by jumping up and performing an elbow drop, jumping up during a dodge and landing on the player, or releasing a yellow smoke bomb larger than Sly's, along with the occasional rock throw.

- When possessed by the Guru, they could not attack by using
, but by jumping. They are the only guards able to do this.
- They also only have one attack as the yellow smoke bomb, thrown by pressing , doesn't do damage.

- While in the mission "Spelunking" they can only throw smoke bombs; while in the mission "Lemon Rage," they can only use their jump attack. However, in "Spelunking," the giant masked kangaroo can use both moves.
- The cloud of smoke General Tsao uses to get away from Sly in "Laptop Retrieval" is the same smoke the kangaroo guards use. One of the sounds the kangaroos make while doing this even plays when Tsao uses it.
