Coin Magnetism is an upgrade in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus that allows coins to be collected from a larger distance than before. It was made by Karin Coopergiwa, and is the fifth move obtained from a safe.


Coins, which previously required Sly Cooper to either touch them or hit them with his cane to collect, will now fly into his backpack from a distance.

The move carries over to the following games, allowing players to collect coins without having to touch them. It also appears in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time as the treasure, Coopergiwa's Gold Magnet, which is also obtained from a vault. However, in this game, it leaves a yellow trail and spins around Sly before he collects it.
