Clock-La is the incarnation of Constable Neyla and Clockwerk when Neyla merged herself with the archaic bird's mechanical frame. She served as the final boss of Sly 2: Band of Thieves. She was the second and last main antagonist of Episode 8: Anatomy for Disaster.

Biography

After Arpeggio, the final active member of the Klaww Gang, reassembled Clockwerk's frame in order to obtain immortality, Neyla betrayed him and merged herself with Clockwerk's body instead. The result formed a reincarnation of the inactive Clockwerk and Neyla's mind, the new being dubbing herself "Clock-La". Arpeggio, angered that his cohort had betrayed him, ranted at the evil Clock-La before being crushed to death by her new body. From there, she took flight and circled around Arpeggio's blimp in a hunt for Sly Cooper and his gang. When Sly came out of hiding, Clock-La engaged him in battle while he manned a turret on Carmelita Fox's helicopter.

After being defeated, Clock-La captures Sly's friends Murray and Bentley and flies off, leading Sly to engage her on a dangerous chase through the skies over Paris. Sly catches up to her and proceeds to bash her head in with his cane, and learns from Clock-La's ranting the true source of Clockwerk's immortality, the Hate Chip. After a second defeat, Clock-La battered and malfunctioning, crashes into the waters surrounding Paris while Sly and the Cooper Gang survive. Clock-La, refusing to let them survive, boasts that she was still alive and had her Hate Chip.

Bentley deduces the removal of the Hate Chip would result in the destruction of Clock-La. Murray traverses and pries open Clockwerk's beak, allowing Bentley to move in and retrieve the Hate Chip. Neyla's mind, ranting to the Cooper Gang of their demise and her endless hatred towards them, and of which clamped shut while trying to remove the Hate Chip thus resulting his legs breaking with the weight of Clockwerk's beak. Without the Hate Chip, Clockwerk's frame self-destructed.

After Carmelita crushed the Hate Chip herself, the Clockwerk parts deteriorated into nothing, destroying any remnant of Clockwerk and killing Neyla in the process.

Personality

Clock-La at first retained much of Neyla's personality with Clockwerk's frame being her only change in either physical or mental appearance. However, Neyla began to show signs of more hate and distaste for Sly Cooper during their fight, and their battle only escalated this fury towards him and the Cooper Gang. During a short banter between her and the raccoon, Clock-La revealed that she was feeling a deep hatred growing within her and could be attributed to her erratic change in behavior. This is also a sign that Clockwerk's body or maybe even Clockwerk himself was slowly consuming Neyla's mind and emotions, making her another victim to his hate.

Weaponry

Like the original Clockwerk, Clock-La can fire missiles, and energy rings. The only differences are that Clock-La can fire the rings while the energy is closed in, and needs to be shot at for it to open. Also the missiles are split into two after being shot once. Clock-La can also fire an energy blast that can severely damage Carmelita Fox's helicopter.
