Sly Cooper is fifteen years old today. Crazy, huh? There's no news to speak of, sadly, so I decided that I would tell my Sly Cooper story, and I encourage all to do the same in the comments below.
I remember way back in 2002 getting a PS2 for my birthday and asking for one game and one game only: Sly Fox. Not a thing. Luckily, my mom went to the local GameCrazy (the video game store that was connected to Hollywood Video; two dead companies) and asked for Sly Fox. Whoever was behind the counter at the time was smart enough to realize that I had meant Sly Cooper and that the game wasn't going to be coming out for another 3 and a half months or so. So my first preorder was placed. (It was a small town, and this was a time where digital distribution…Read more >
I'm a bit late on finally creating a news post for this, but here goes (this post originally appeared here).
It looks like it is really happening. A TV series. Many of us wanted it, and now we are getting it.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is teaming up with Technicolor Animation Productions. They certainly have a track record. How you feel about it is up to you. They worked on the Sonic Boom television series, as well as an Alvin & the Chipmunks television series. They also do games work. It looks like they have worked on the pre-rendered cinematics in games like the 2013 Tomb Raider and Hitman Absolution (if you remember the trailer with the nuns; Technicolor Animation Productions did that).
In charge of global distribution (including merchandising…Read more >
Hey Hopeful Sly Pals,
Still no real news. But that doesn't mean we can't make some out of likely nothing. The official Rainmaker Animation YouTube channel uploaded a new Sly Cooper trailer yesterday. Yeah. Wanna see it?
You done watching? Did you notice anything? If not, that's OK. Yes, that trailer is basically the same as the original trailer from January 2014. But not exactly. At the very end, instead of the saying "Breaking Into Theaters In 2016", it says "The Movie". That's it.
Unremarkable, right? Possibly. It doesn't mean anything. Rainmaker is basically saying "we're not releasing the movie in 2016." Duh. But it also says something else. It says "we still care enough about this to make the information accurate." They aren't giving us a …

According to several sources around the internet, Rainmaker has officially moved on to working on Sly Cooper since they have finished the Ratchet & Clank movie. The people who have been saying this are fans who have sent private messages to Rainmaker on sites such as Facebook. They respond with similarly worded responses, always saying something along the lines of "Sly Cooper is next on our development slate." (Here's an example from Reddit.)
Anyway, it's good news, so stay tuned for more! (I have a feeling something will be at E3 this year... EDIT: I was clearly wrong.)

bureaucrat for the Sly Cooper Wiki.
I come to you today with (possibly) solemn news. This won't be a large post.
It looks like the movie is on hold. And has been. For two years. The official release date is still early 2016, though that is now impossible unless the film is to be released without any marketing (much like the fourth game was). Late 2016 might still be possible to hit, though if I were a betting man, I would say early 2017 or later. Remember, Ratchet got delayed from 2015 to 2016.
I'm really just compiling information here, so take this as you will. These next quotes are pulled from Twitter.
@kevmunroe (obviously) is Kevin Munroe, the director/writer of the movie.
@IanJames007 (again, obviously) is Ian James Corlett, the voice of Sly Cooper.
Now, this can all mean a var…

Hey, you thiefy-thieves you,
It's official. Really official. And in fact, it has been official for over five years now. Sly Cooper's father's name is... Conner Cooper. Yep. With an "e." Crazy, right?
Where did I get this information? Don't worry, it's all legit. But I'm not gonna tell you.
ONLY JOKING. A few days ago, I bought The Sly Collection Official Strategy Guide from Amazon. It arrived this morning. Why did I buy it? Well, I want as much Sly Cooper merchandise as I can get my hands on, but I also remembered somebody saying something about Sly's father being named in it. However, I couldn't find the post that said this.
Anyway, when it comes down to it, page 280 states Sly's father's name in bold. Could it really be Conner Cooper? I couldn't…Read more >
Hey Sly Fans,
Below are two lists; one of all walkthrough pages that don't exist and need to be created, and one of all walkthrough pages (whether they currently exist or not) that are "stubs," or are not complete pages.
You can help us out by either creating the missing pages or going to the stub pages and filling them out with a walkthrough for that job. For information on writing walkthroughs, you can refer to Electric Cricket's "All in a Night's Work."
If you just want to create the missing pages, but don't want to fill them out, then just copy and paste this into the empty walkthrough page (be sure to read the rest of this post before doing so, though; there are more elements you need to add):to the top, above any other page management … Read more >
Hello again, Sly Fans!
The Sly Cooper Wiki has upgraded! We now have access to the new VisualEditor for pages, which makes editing a much easier thing to do, especially if you like rearranging photos and whatnot.
Now that's all good, but for me personally, I like editing in Source Mode. This allows easier coding (for when I do code) and allows me to change a lot more stuff with ease, like image sizes and centering of words. If you're like me, and you would prefer to use Source Mode, or even the default Rich Text Editor (what the Wiki used to open by default), head on over HERE. You can then scroll down to "Editing experience", then use the drop down menu to choose what editing style you would like to use.
Anyway, just thought I would enlighten…Read more >
Hey Sly fans,
Teenbat here, wishing everybody a fantastic holiday season (a bit late on my part, I think). How's it going? For a few weeks or so, I've been thinking about doing something, and this is where I will be posting information on it.
Wikis are ever changing, and the Sly Cooper Wiki is no different. Templates are replaced, people come and go, games are made and (hopefully not) forgotten. We create pages that are neglected and turned into, ugh, stubs. Grammar runs rampant and mutates, like a frog habitat near a nuclear power plant. Anonymous trolls use the harmless title of "Wikia Contributor" to slander and vandalize our home away from home, disgracing all those too young (or lazy; you know you are *wink*) to create an account.
And it…Read more >
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is the fourth title of the Sly Cooper series of platform stealth video games. The game picks up right where Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves left off, which Sly needed to reunite with his gang to locate the los Thievius Raccoonus. With new masks, treasures, and the introduction of Sly's ancestors, the game is an exciting return-to-form for the franchise. It's been 8 years since the previous Sly title, how does the new game stack up? The verdict is in! Be sure to let us know your thoughts once you play the game.
No poor reviews for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time have been received yet.
