Murray rushes forward in a short burst of speed, knocking away any guards or breakable objects that are in Murray's way, before coming to a screeching halt. Usually, an attacked guard will be stunned if the attack is not enough to kill.
In Sly 2, during "Operation: Trojan Tank," a "hypno-ray"-influenced Murray repeatedly uses the Berserker Charge to attack Sly. Unlike the power-up version, Murray will not stop charging until he hits something sturdy and solid, he tracks the position of Sly (but not the path), and he precedes each charge by roaring to the sky and beating his chest.
- The roar that Murray lets out before using the Berserker Charge during Operation: Trojan Tank is the same roar that Murray uses to perform the Guttural Roar.
