"A Deadly Dance" was a job and boss level in Vicious Voodoo of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. It is here that Sly confronts Mz. Ruby, the Chief Mystic and third member of the Fiendish Five inside her Skull Temple.
Synopsis
Sly will confront Mz. Ruby, after which they will engage in some dialogue, after which he will need to get to Mz. Ruby by platforming through a dead giant alligator's mouth, while avoiding getting squished by the teeth.
After that Sly will need to fight Mz. Ruby she slam her tail into the ground which will create a shockwave which needs to be avoided.
After hitting her she will teleport away and you will have to follow her by riding a turtle named Chumley, she will then attack you with voodoo magic Sly must dodge her attacks by pressing the Template:Icon, Template:Icon, Template:Icon, or Template:Icon.
Sly will then need to fight again, she will teleport away after getting hit, you then need to avoid her attacks and jump from spire to spire by pressing the Template:Icon, Template:Icon, Template:Icon, or Template:Icon.
After beating her again she will teleport away and you will need to reach her by riding a mosquito, while avoiding her attacks by pressing the Template:Icon, Template:Icon, Template:Icon, or Template:Icon.
After finally catching up to her and hitting her she will give up and warn him not to mess with the Panda King.
Trivia
- Due to the remixed music in The Sly Collection, the music no longer synchronizes with Mz. Ruby's attacks, making her boss fight subjectively more difficult.
- In The Sly Collection, it is possible, through a rare glitch to completely skip the final mosquito sequence by somehow hitting her twice before she transitions to it.[1] The game will think you have successfully defeated her and the finishing cutscene will play with a glitched camera.
