A Deadly Dance is a boss level in the Vicious Voodoo from Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Sly confronts Mz. Ruby, the Chief Mystic and third member of the Fiendish Five inside her Skull Temple.

ObjectivesEdit

• Defeat Mz. Ruby

• Stop the Ghost Cat production

• Recover the third part of the Thievius Raccoonus.

Stage GraphEdit

The battle takes place inside Mz. Ruby's skull temple. The floor is filled with the green goo used to produce the ghost cats, and there are several bird houses built inside the temple.

Boss AttacksEdit

Mz. Ruby will use her voodoo magic to try and stop Sly. Sly must dodge her attacks by pressing the triangle, circle, x, or square button.

First ProcessEdit

Mz. Ruby will use her magic to make the skull temple come to life and use it's alligator jaws to crush Sly. The molars are safe to jump on, but the canines dangerous as they connect with the upper canines on every beat. Sly must jump from molar to molar according to the boss battle's music. Once this is done, Sly will reach Mz. Ruby and hit her, making her disappear and re-materialize on a far location of the temple.

Second ProcessEdit

Mz. Ruby suggests they play a game of voodoo Simon Says. Sly must repeat everything Mz. Ruby does to avoid her voodoo attacks. Sly accepts the challenge. Mz. Ruby proceeds to project voodoo magic to him, which he has to dodge using the same sequence of buttons. Square is a dodge to the right, and circle to the left. Triangle is a duck and X is a jump.

He first stands on Mz. Ruby's servant "Chumley" who swims slowly over towards her with no X buttons in the sequence until the very end.

After hitting her, she re-materializes somewhere else and Sly has to jump from spire to spire towards her, nearly every sequence containing an X.

The third time, Sly stands on a mosquito and the pace is dramatically increased with no X buttons but the last one. The mosquito flies towards her and Sly ducks with 11 Triangles, each one getting faster and faster, the final note being an X that hits the mosquito and sends Sly to land near her, giving him the opportunity to finish her.

Once she is defeated, Mz. Ruby reveals that the Panda King resides in China and she gives up her part of the Thievius Raccoonus.

Trivia Edit

• Circle and Square make the word " Dig-That when Mz. Ruby says it, and Triangle and X makes "Voo-doo", and all together you hear "Dig-That Voo-Doo".
• Due to the remixed music in the Sly Collection, the music no longer synchronizes with Mz. Ruby's attacks, making her boss fight much more difficult in comparison to the original version.
